What do you do with your over ripe bananas (besides smoothies)? You create a delicious pan fried cinamon banana snack for your toddler.
I buy bananas everytime I go into the store, the twins love them. Problem is I either buy too many or not enough and I hate running out of bananas so it’s too many majority of the time.
I also started to feel like my little ones might be bored eating plain bananas all the time, I wanted to give them something with a bit more flavor.
I came across frozen banana and pb and j, pan fried cinnamon bananas, and banana chips. But today we are talking about pan fried cinnamon bananas, one of their favorites.

Bananas are a great source of potassium for toddlers.They are also filled with other important nutrition such as Vitamin A and Vitamin B12.

About the Recipe
This is definitely one of those “oh shit, I haven’t had the chance to or I forgot to fix something” recipes. You literally only have to cook them for 2-3 minutes on both sides and allow to cool for 10 minutes (or put them in the freezer). 😎

These are great to freeze and thaw as you need them to give your little one a healthy but still delicious.
The mixture can cause a slightly sticky glaze and I want to avoid sticky toddlers, so make sure to sprinkle them and not completely cover them. I did for the ones I made here because there are for me ❤ they are so good!
What you will need:
- 1 banana
- 1/4 cup of brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
I begin by mixing my brown sugar and cinnamon together in a small bowl.
Then I coat my pan with butter or non-stick spray and set my stove to medium. While my pan is heating I cut my bananas.
After cutting my bananas I coat for me, but sprinkle for my toddlers, the mixture onto the bananas.
I cook my bananas on each side for about 2-3 minutes.
Allow your bananas to cool and enjoy!
