Love is in the air! Toddler Valentine’s Day Crafts and activities are too! Now that my twins are 2 this month, I want to really get them going on toddler crafts.

When you think Valentine’s day, you think romance, and for kids, all the candy valentines for school you have to buy. What about our tots?

Crafts are a great way to get toddlers hands on and thinking creatively. It’s also a great way to get them into following instructions before Pre-K.

Last Valentine’s day the twins received stuffed monkeys covered in hearts, too young for anything more. But this year bring on the treats and paper!

Toddler Valentine’s Day Crafts Tips

  • If your project allows, go ahead and cut any pieces that may need to be cut to keep tiny hands away from scissors.
  • Never lay scissors down in your work area, all it takes is one glance away for your toddler to grab them.
  • For messy crafts, lay out a flat garbage bag under your work area for easy cleaning.
  • Beware of glitter.
